Your seventh graders should be returning home today with important science fair paper work and requirements. Science Fair proposals, along with the paper work is due Wednesday October 12th.
In the packets you should find:
Checklist for Adult Sponsor/ Safety Assessmet Form
Approval Form
Research Plan
Research Plan Attachment
Continuation Projects Form (if continuing a project from last year)
Note: I am the adult sponsor, UNLESS the student is working with potentially hazardous agents, vertebrate animals, human subjects, or controlled substances. In these cases, a parent or other mentor is recommended that can supervise experimentation. If your student fits into one of these categories, the following paperwork should also be included:
Potentially Hazardous Biological Agents Form
Vertebrate Animal Forms
Human Subjects Form
Designated Supervisor Form
