Do Now: Although fish and dolphins both live in the ocean scientists have grouped them into different families of organisms. Make a list of the similarities and differences between fish and dolphins.

Today in class we:
- Discussed Carolus Linnaeus and his system of binomial nomenclature
- Discussed the use of organisms genus and species classification in terms of scientific naming
- Finished metric system lab
- Turned in binders for grading
Homework:
- How many species are there? Worksheet. Questions to be answered on binder paper
- If you havent finished the metric lab it is your responsibility to come in during break or lunch to finish.
